Hello my loves! I hope you’re all doing well.
Today’s post is a little travel hack for my fellow students, and anyone else who likes to travel the country often without spending a fortune! I’m working with National Express to let you know more about coach travel, the benefits and why you should definitely be using it!
Affordable, Comfy and Modern Student Travel With National Express Coaches
So last week, myself and @sameastphoto took a trip from Bristol to London for a day of content shooting before I headed home for my university Easter break. We had a wonderful day and a great journey with National Express! It was a two and a half hour journey, but it was very comfortable and relaxing! It’s the largest provider of scheduled coach services, linking over 900 destinations, there are so many to choose from!
I know as a student that homesickness can be a killer, which is why travelling home during the holidays can be so great to refresh yourself and see your family. Trains can be a little pricey sometimes, and a coach is a great alternative for comfy, affordable and fast student travel! Here are a few little facts and figures about National Express coaches:
- There are thousands of tickets at £5 or less, so it’s a super affordable mode of transport.
- There is the option of seat reservations, but a seat is always guaranteed!
- There are coach operations direct to airport terminals with over 1.100 daily services, 24 hours a day!
Another super helpful addition to your student travel needs is the young person Coachcard. This is for anybody aged 16-26 and offers great savings all through the year. It only costs £12.50 for a year and you will receive: a third off regular fares, 20% off at Pizza Hut (a student essential), 15% discount for travel to certain festivals and music events and the cost of the Coachcard can also be offset against your first journey. Now that’s a lot of perks! It would be silly not to, right?
Every coach is fit with air conditioning, leather seats, free entertainment via VUER – a complimentary onboard entertainment app, power sockets and toilets. You can’t really ask for more! I don’t know about you, but that seems like all the necessities for a coach trip! I’ll definitely be using National Express coaches more often for my travel around the UK!
