Street style is where it’s at in the fashion world. It’s the latest trends, what’s hot right now and is a constantly changing element. It’s difficult to keep up sometimes! A few weeks ago, I took a trip to London, which is one of my favourite cities for fashion.
With my style being slightly more outlandish and bright, I feel right at home in London. There’s such a variety of trends floating around, and places like Brick Lane just scream that vintage and alternative vibe. I love it!
Today I thought I’d show you a few of the outfits I was loving on this trip! You would have seen these if you follow me on instagram (you def should, I’m super happy with my feed right now!) So stay tuned if you’d like to know how to wear those street style trends.
The Boohoo denim co-ord
I didn’t think I could be this in love with a two piece set until I came across this Boohoo one. It officially has my heart. I will admit something slightly shameful, this is the first ever co-ord of any kind I have owned…oops.
Yeah I missed the co-ord band wagon when it came along, but here I am finally jumping on board with it. This checked set also has a matching pair of mom shorts and a longline jacket. Another excuse to make an order, right? All pieces are linked below where you can easily shop my look!
The leopard print trend
The street style trend that fashion bloggers are loving this season (including myself). Leopard print is a thing from the past which has resurfaced in all its 80’s glory. Like many other trends, this was once considered slightly cheesy, and is now a statement print in most girls’ wardrobes.
This amazing leopard print knit top is from Zara. I couldn’t find it on the site (maybe because it was a sale piece), but I will link some other leopard print pieces I’m loving below.
My love for checkerboard print clothing is a known fact (hint: I’m obsessed), and it isn’t stopping anytime soon. So many people have asked about my check denim skirt from Monki.
It’s such a staple piece in my wardrobe, and was one of the first items I bought when I decided to embrace a bolder personal style (which you can read about here). I will link this beauty below along with the matching denim jacket (cha-ching!). Plus the checked dungarees which are at the very top of my wishlist.
The statement (fake) belt
So I may not have the cash to splash on an authentic Gucci, but this fake from a Turkish market is as close as I’m gonna get. I love accessorising with belts, it’s such an easy way to spice up a simple outfit!
I paired the belt with a simple pair of Boohoo denim shorts and a bright orange statement tee from good old Primark (we all love it). I will link the real Gucci belt below (sob) and some other gorgeous statement belts that you should definitely check out!
I hope this post may have given you some fashion inspo, and please share it if you liked it!
Lots of love xx
