Today I am reviewing the newly released charcoal and bamboo range from T-Zone. They are a skincare company who specialise in addressing spot prone and more difficult skin types (such as my own!). T-Zone very kindly sent me the self-heating mask, face wash and nose pore strips from their new range for me to test and review for you guys! Keep reading to see what I thought of this product range.
My first impression of this product was a strange one, I have never used a product like it before! I was intrigued by the ‘self heating’ concept, and didn’t know what to expect. The product itself comes in a plastic packet that tears open. The consistency of the product is very thick and almost gooey like, but it was still easy to apply. As soon as you massage the product into your skin, this hot sensation suddenly hits! It wasn’t uncomfortably hot and stopped as soon as you stopped massaging. This was such a new idea to me but I loved it! It also differs from most face masks as the product doesn’t dry, instead you leave it on your face whilst massaging the product and then wash it off with warm water.
The results I received from this mask were very good! It took a little bit longer to wash off than most other masks due to the consistency, but that wasn’t a major problem. My skin felt so soft and clean afterwards, and it looked brighter as well. I would definitely recommend this product to others for their skincare routine with oily and spot prone skin!
I have used T-Zone’s face washes before and I have never been disappointed, so I had high expectations for this product! This face wash followed through with my assumption and is now my favourite face wash from T-zone. It was very easy to work into a lather and felt really good on the skin. I was very pleased with the results.
My spots were visibly less inflamed and my skin looked brighter with a matte finish. My skin remained matte in appearance for a good few hours after I washed it, which was a great result. I will definitely continue using this product in my daily skincare routine.
Nose Pore Strips
I have used nose strips in the past as I tend to get a lot of blackheads around my nose area, but I stopped purchasing them as I didn’t believe I was seeing visible results. These pore strips felt a lot sturdier and more effective than ones I have previously used from other brands.
I hadn’t done any nose extractions for a while when I tested these out, so the pore strip removed most of the bigger and more visible blackheads. I did see a small improvement in the condition of my nose, but mostly the strips just reduced the oily appearance. Personally pore strips aren’t something I will purchase again, but if you have never tried them then give these a try!
I hope you enjoyed this post and my review of these products now in my skincare routine! They are available for purchase from Superdrug.com and www.t-zoneskincare.com.
Take care and have a lovely week! xx
