If you follow me on Instagram, (which I will link here) you may have seen that I received the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette for Christmas last year! I’m very grateful as I have had my eye on this ever since it was released. So here is my tried and tested review of this palette! My love for the Urban Decay palettes has been present for some time, starting with the Naked 3 palette, which I included in my beauty favourites of 2017 post, so needless to say I was just as excited to try another Naked palette!
I prefer the packaging of the Naked Heat in comparison to the Naked 3 palette which I already own. It has a magnetic closure which makes it easier, and the overall palette feels more durable with a sleek design. The trays are organised the same as all naked palettes, in a row with the colour name underneath. It also comes with a handy double ended eyeshadow brush.
I had high hopes for this palette of gorgeous warm colours, and it didn’t disappoint! All the shades have really great pigment and the brighter colours still appear that way once applied to your eyes. As with most eyeshadows, the colours stay on for longer with a primer, which I would always recommend using. I love how well all the shades blend, and the versatility of this palette means you can create a variety of different looks from just these shades. Below is a photo of all the shades swatched on my (very pale) arm:
Would I recommend this product?
Absolutely! If you’re an Urban Decay newbie or a long time lover of their products, this palette is great for all. Some people may find a few of the shades a little too vibrant, but I love experimenting with brighter shades that are a little outside my comfort zone!
